RETURNS POLICY

At FMES Australia we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase.

We therefore recommend you read our Refund, Return and Repairs Policy prior to you making a purchase from FMES Australia, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.

About our Refund, Return Policy

This Refund Policy applies where you purchase a standard off the shelf product from FM Electrical Supplies Australia P/L and does not apply to custom made products that are specifically made to the customers specifications. These are non-stocked products with our suppliers and are non-returnable & non-refundable unless proven faulty by the supplier or found damaged upon delivery to the customer.

Goods Damaged in Transit

If any goods arrive damaged, please contact us at sales@fmes.com.au as soon as possible. FMES Australia will access and investigate the nature of the damage and have replacement goods returned to you or refund the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging and accessories.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed by FMES Australia and will normally be processed within 5 working days.

Delivery Charges

Where FMES Australia considers the goods to have been breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to FMES Australia will be at our cost.

Returns

As long as you have not used, tampered with, damaged our products, you may return goods in its original packaging we delivered to you. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent to you with a replacement. If these goods were custom made and suppliers fault, then replacement of the goods delivery will depend upon the supplier instructions which will be conveyed to you via email.

Goods must be returned within 10 working days. Stocked goods will be dispatched immediately. If this is an indent item, it could take between 6-8 weeks or more to replace a product from overseas. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.

If any goods cannot be easily returned to us due to their size, the fault or because they have been affixed or installed in your premises, please contact us for an alternate solution to access the goods.

You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
